Everyone wants to have radiant and healthy skin. There are a number of different things that you can do to help achieve this. Let’s start from the inside out with water. Healthy, hydrated skin starts with drinking plenty of water every day.

It is also important to remember to use an SPF on a daily basis – whatever the time of year is. The sun may not be shining but it’s still there and it is one of the best ways to look after your skin.

How much you sleep is of great importance for all human beings, since, in this way, you will avoid signs of tiredness on your face and dryness of your skin.

Easy and practical, natural face masks that can be applied at home save many women by giving them a healthy and smooth skin in a matter of minutes. There are masks for those who have oily skin and dry skin, and masks that treat either kind of skin, like the masks made out of strawberries (+ olive oil and sugar), which serve to exfoliate and moisturize the skin.

Another very recommended way to take care of your skin is to periodically make moisturizing masks. That is also highly recommended if you have oily skin. Undergo professional exfoliations to remove impurities and show off a clean and smooth skin.

Depending on the season you may need to add in different products and routines, this article looks at specific winter skincare tips.

Every time a new series of Queer Eye pops up, I watch JVN do his Beauty/Self Care bit and always think that I should be doing more for my skin – especially given how dry it gets in the Copenhagen air. It’s the cold outside with the heating inside it just ends up super dry and peelie. Also, my lips are like the Sahara Desert some days (maybe that should be the Antarctic instead given the cold outside!). I did try to start out how I meant to go and decided I’d put on some cream when I cleaned my teeth but I always forget or something else happens lol.
